John Buckland Wright (1897-1954). Born in New Zealand, John Buckland Wright was a master printmaker and draughtsman who illustrated many books and, along with SW Hayter, pioneered new techniques in printmaking as part of the famous Atelier 17 workshop in Paris. His work is held in many museum collections.
